Hey Israel, Hey World; let’s opt for Resilience.
We did not come this far to let the whole thing fall apart.
I refuse to be beaten down by a lockdown when there are no soldiers at my door wanting to kill us all. I refuse to have social media take over my common sense and incentivize a feeling of ‘the other’, while I am trying to be a Yoga teacher claiming to understand this whole unity thing.
Yes, it is much easier to understand it in my studio with some insence burning but Resilience is something we were literary beaten into, not so long ago.
Resilience was the only option for centuries, because not having Resilience would leave you simply – Dead.
Resilience is not: Faking it.
Resilience is not: Putting on a happy face when all you want to do is cry.
Resilience is not: Smoking, drinking or swallowing whatever, to go to a temporary happy place.
Resilience is not: Shutting out the world and letting zero negativity in (my personal favorite).
Resilience is in our DNA – Israel and World.
No matter what your family tree is made of, all of us have Resilience hanging on its branches.
So take a deep breath in and then let all all the shit out, like really out.
Then think of someone in that tree, or in your community who resembles Resilience for you and have her sit on your shoulder and let that DNA light up over and over again.
I believe we will continue losing our minds over petty things, bigger things and really serious things and that should be ok. And than let’s be Resilient again and again. So that we will be thought of as that Resilient person on the family tree or in our community when it will be their time to be Resilient.
